EXPERTISE

Turner R. Mebane, Jr. is a federal sentencing guidelines expert who is well known, and has a history of making sound sentencing recommendations that are respected by the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and the Office of the Federal Public Defender. Conducted over a 1,000 interviews and pre-sentence investigations during a career of more than 22 years as a United States Probation Officer.

Assists the defense counsel in presenting a complete picture of their client to the sentencing judge. Knows what information is most relevant to probation officers and the Court, and how to package and deliver that information in a digestible and convincing way.
